Role Description The People Manager role at Pentabay Softwares is a full-time, on-site position based in Mylapore.

The People

Manager will oversee end-to-end people operations, including talent management, performance reviews, and employee engagement initiatives. This role involves partnering with leadership to define organizational structures, workforce planning, and growth strategies, while maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment. Daily responsibilities include managing HR policies, resolving employee queries, coordinating learning and development programs, and supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.

The People

Manager will also monitor workforce productivity, use data-driven insights to recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with relevant labor regulations.

Qualifications

Experience in people management, including performance management, employee engagement, and conflict resolution.

Skills in HR operations such as policy implementation, compliance, benefits coordination, and HR documentation.

Ability to support recruitment activities, including interviewing, candidate evaluation, and onboarding processes.

Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.

Experience using HRIS or workforce analytics tools to derive insights and support decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.

Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced technology environment and partner effectively with leadership.

Familiarity with change management, organizational development, and creating inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace practices.
