About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven business development professional to grow sponsorship revenue and expand our partnership network. The role combines inbound enquiry conversion, new business acquisition and relationship development across cities.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive sponsorship revenue: Convert incoming enquiries and acquire new sponsors for events, conferences, webinars and community programmes.

· Develop strategic partnerships: Build collaborations with businesses, resorts, MICE and hospitality providers, educational institutions and other relevant organisations.

· Own the sales cycle: Qualify opportunities, understand business objectives, present tailored proposals, negotiate terms and close agreements.

· Progress opportunities: Handle objections constructively, maintain consistent follow-ups and establish clear next steps with decision makers.

· Build relationships in the field: Travel to meet prospective sponsors and partners, present opportunities and develop mutually valuable collaborations.

· Manage commercial execution: Coordinate MoUs and agreements through authorised approvals, follow through on payments and ensure a clear handover for delivery.

· Grow partner accounts: Review outcomes, secure renewals and develop multi-event partnerships and referrals.

· Maintain pipeline visibility: Keep accurate CRM records, forecasts and action plans against agreed revenue and partnership targets.

Experience & Capabilities

· Minimum 2–3 years of proven sponsorship sales experience, with evidence of personally closing paid agreements and achieving targets.

· Experience in events, conferences, exhibitions, media sales or relevant corporate partnerships.

· Confident communication, active listening, presentation and negotiation skills.

· A proactive, positive and persistent approach to prospecting, objection handling and closure.

· Ability to engage business owners, senior corporate leaders and institutional decision makers.

· Strong commercial judgement, relationship-building skills and follow-up discipline.

· Willingness to travel across India and independently manage business meetings.

The Opportunity

Take ownership of a growing sponsorship and partnership portfolio, engage with the HR leadership community and contribute directly to myHRSG’s expansion.

Success in this role will be measured by sponsorship revenue collected, activated partnerships, sales conversion and partner renewals.
