Job Summary

We are looking for a highly creative Senior Graphic Designer with strong design fundamentals and experience in performance marketing creatives. The candidate must be capable of independently visualising concepts, interpreting advertising copy, and translating ideas into impactful visual designs for Meta Ads.

Formal education from a recognised design school or institute is mandatory. We are looking for a hands-on designer with strong conceptual and execution skills who relies on original thinking and design expertise rather than being heavily dependent on AI tools.

Key Responsibilities
• Conceptualise, visualise, and design high-impact creatives for Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram).
• Independently interpret copy, headlines, hooks, and campaign briefs and translate them into compelling visual concepts.
• Develop original design directions, layouts, compositions, and visual storytelling aligned with the brand's positioning.
• Create static ads, carousels, promotional creatives, and campaign visuals for product launches and sales campaigns.
• Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing and performance optimisation.
• Translate product USPs, ingredients, and benefits into clear, engaging, conversion-focused visual communication.
• Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Creative Strategy, Content, and Brand teams.
• Maintain premium visual standards, brand consistency, and timely delivery of creatives.
• Use design judgement and creative problem-solving to improve advertising effectiveness, incorporating campaign feedback where relevant.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
• Formal design education from a recognised design school or institute.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Communication, Applied Arts, or an equivalent discipline.
• 4–7 years of relevant graphic design experience.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, layout, visual hierarchy, and art direction.
• Proven ability to visualise copy and independently convert written briefs into original, well-executed designs.
• Strong portfolio showcasing conceptualisation, creative thinking, and performance marketing assets.
• Ability to work hands-on from concept development to final creative execution.

Preferred Experience
• Experience in D2C, beauty, skincare, cosmetics, personal care, or e-commerce brands.
• Understanding of Meta Ads and performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
• Experience creating multiple creative routes and variations for testing.

Important Candidate Expectation

We are looking for a designer who can think, visualise, conceptualise, and execute independently. The candidate should demonstrate original creative thinking, strong design fundamentals, and the ability to translate copy into effective visual communication.

AI tools may be used as supporting tools, but strong conceptualisation and hands-on design capabilities must remain the candidate's core strengths. Heavy dependence on AI-generated outputs in place of original design thinking is not desirable.

Application: Candidates must share their updated CV and portfolio at hr@clayco.in.
